We Are Witch is a collaborative project that honours the women killed under the Witchcraft Act in East Anglia. It highlights their persecution, the miscarriage of justice and promises not to forget them. Or the legacy this chapter of history leaves for women. Far from a historical honouring of an act of long ago We Are Witch highlights contemporary issues of oppression, freedom of speech and feminism.
The quilt is now finished and the events programme is now live.

Summer solstice 2025. I walked with Ruth Minchin and Elinor Dale from We are Witch Quilt along the Yare Valley in remembrance of the women murdered for witchcraft in East Anglia. A list that takes over 10 minutes to read aloud.
I was the sound artist for the trip. The audio visual piece I subsequently created of our journey has been co-presented alongside the extraordinary quilt that Ruth has manifested.
In partnership with Norfolk Folklore society we held an honouring summer solstice 2026 and alongside Maxine Peake and the Eccentronic Research Council,
performing 1612 Underture at the Black Shuck Festival in July.
