Asteroidea was a two meter diameter galaxy of starfish that was originally made in 2003 by Liz McGowan and Margie Britz to hang against the east window of Salthouse Church in north Norfolk.
In 2026 Asteroidea came out for one last time, was mended and hung once again in the church, but this time on its own.
After a shared banquet down the aisle of the church, Rachel Wright and I were joined by musicians Chris Dowding and Gem Ash to create a participatory final audio visual event or finissage.

Audio recordings of this event will be released in due course.
